The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) program is for healthcare professionals without a current ACLS card. This class provides guidelines and up-to-date information on the science of adult resuscitation.

Please Note: On the day of your class, you must bring a current (unexpired) BLS card and precourse certificate. Walk-ins or late arrivals will not be accepted on the day of the class. 

 

To access the ACLS precourse self-assessment and work:

  1. Visit elearning.heart.org/course/423
  2. Find the course name (ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment).
  3. Select Launch Course
    • You will be prompted to create an account.
  4. Pass the pre-course assessment and bring a copy of your certificate to class.

 

How to Get Ready

The ACLS Course is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be both a team member and a Team Leader in either an in-hospital or out-of-hospital setting. Because the ACLS Course covers extensive material in a short time, you will need to prepare for the course beforehand by reviewing the ACLS Provider Manual.
