Course Description:

Accurate documentation is as critical skill for EMS providers, especially in todays digital age of electronic patient care reporting (ePCR). This 2-hour instructor-led course covers the essentials of effective documentation, emphasizing accuracy, reviewing compliance, and discusses modern ethical situations. Participants will gain practical tools and strategies to imrpove their documentation and ensure consistent, high-quality reporting. This course encourages new perspectives and fosters confidence using ePCR systems effectievely. 

Objectives:

• Recognize the importance of accurate documenation 
• Apply legal and ethical principles to documentation
• Utilize checklists, templates, and peer review to ensure accurate, consistent, documentation 

This class will occur online via remote platform. Participants must complete a post-test and course survey to receive CEH.
