The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is intended to provide the skills needed to resuscitate an infant or child. It is for healthcare professionals with a current PALS card. To prepare for class, you must understand the information in the PALS Provider eBook.

 

Please Note: On the day of your class, you must bring a current (unexpired) ACLS and BLS card and precourse certificate. Walk-ins or late arrivals will not be accepted on the day of the class. 

 

To access the PALS precourse self-assessment and work:

  1. Visit elearning.heart.org/course/426
  2. Find the course name (PALS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work).
  3. Select Launch Course to begin the course.
    • You will be prompted to log in or create an account.
    • If you have completed the pre-course work recently, you must select Re-enroll
  4. Pass the pre-course assessment and complete the video lessons (3.5 hrs).
