Course Title: Triage Review

Course Description:

This course covers the history, application, and differences in triage methods.  There is primary focus given to START triage, other triage systems will be reviewed.   Group based discussions relating to the utilization of triage systems will further reinforce learning objectives and understanding of principles.

This course is intended for EMS professionals of every certification level who are interested in honing their triage skills and knowledge.  All students will participate in an instructor guided triage exercise and written examination. 

Objectives:

• Understand the history of EMS triage systems
• Identify situations when triage systems should be utilized
• Compare various triage system

This class will occur online via remote platform. Participants must complete a post-test and course survey to receive CEH.
